Policies
Payment Policy: Payment in full is due at the time services are rendered. Sorry, we do not accept Care Credit. We do accept cash, check, or VISA, DISCOVER, or MASTERCARD.
Appointment Policy: Appointments are required. We believe optimal veterinary care is best provided only if appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and your pet. Regularly scheduled appointments allow our staff to handle the needs of hospitalized patients, client requests, and appointment details in an organized, efficient, and timely manner. Walk-ins will incur an additional $35 fee and may experience wait time, as walk-ins are 'worked' into our previously scheduled appointments.
*New clients are asked to arrive 10 minutes early to their first appointment in order to fill out the New Client Registration Form.
Dispensing Medications: As directed by law, our veterinarian can only dispense/prescribe medications to those patients with a current veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). This requires annual examination of the patient. It is illegal to dispense medications to patients that have not been examined by the veterinarian.
*For quicker registration, please feel free to print and fill out your form at home!

EmergenciesPlease note that our clinic does see occasional emergencies and may need to adjust appointments or wait times as needed. We ask for your understanding and cooperation during emergencies, as critical patients may take priority. We want to assure that if your pet is critically ill, her/his care will come first as well.

Patient Arrival Policy: For the safety of all of our clients/patients and to minimize the potential stress that comes with vet visits we require that all dogs be on short leashes and all cats be in carriers prior to entering the clinic. We are located next to a busy highway and have a small lobby so we do not want any pets inadvertently placed in a high risk or harmful situation. We have leashes and carriers available upon request.
If your pet is suspected to have a contagious disease you may be asked to hold your pet in your vehicle until we are able to place you in an examination room to avoid contamination of the waiting room and exposure to other pets.
ChildrenIt is often exciting for children to come to clinics and see other animals and medical treatments performed on their pets. However we do ask that you have your children ask permission prior to approaching other client's pets as not all pets are friendly with strangers.
CancellationsWe understand that unexpected or unavoidable situations may occur that would prevent you from keeping your scheduled appointment. Please call us immediately if you are unable to make your appointment. For patients scheduled for in-patient procedures (surgeries), we kindly request a minimum of 24 hours advanced notice.
Late Arrivals/No-ShowsAppointments involving clients arriving more than 10 minutes past the scheduled appointment time may be considered as "No-Show" and could need to be rescheduled. If you suspect you are going to be late for your appointment please call us to determine if your late arrival can be accommodated or if you will need to reschedule.
Clients who do not properly cancel appointments will be considered a "no-show". If a client has 2 or more "no-shows" we may elect to charge a non-refundable deposit prior to scheduling any further appointments, no longer reserve appointments, and/or no longer provide care to the client's pet(s).
